Clear goal: Regionalliga

A village of just 250 people is currently rewriting Bavarian amateur football history: SpVgg Hankofen-Hailing has built an 11-point lead at the top of the table and is knocking on the door to the Regionalliga — the best season in the club's history. B42 supported the club through the decisive winter break on the way there, with one goal: an injury-free preparation phase.

Pillar · Team Development

Football-specific fitness instead of the gym

Instead of sending players to the gym across the board, player-coach Tobias Beck assigns one strength and one mobility workout on training days — tailored to what actually helps on the pitch.

“When I assign a workout, I know the players are training something meaningful. Something that helps us in football, instead of just sending them to the gym.” — Tobias Beck, Player-Coach

Pillar · Team Development

Back on the pitch, faster

After a severe elbow injury, player Florian Sommersberger stayed part of the team thanks to individual comeback training programs — instead of standing on the sidelines, he kept training alongside the squad and came back stronger.

“I have my physical fitness back, and I'm getting my playing time back after the injury.” — Florian Sommersberger, Player

Pillar · Motivation

Peer motivation instead of a chore

In the team feed, every player can see who has already completed their workout — and it works: instead of feeling like a chore, extra training turns into a small competition within the squad.

“You see ten other players' completed workouts and immediately think, I need to get on that! That's the peer motivation that makes it fun.” — Daniel Hofer, Player
